Privacy Policy
What we collect when you use this site or get in touch, who else sees it, and how to stop the parts you do not want. Last updated 29 August 2026.
What this covers
This policy applies to simcoelubricants.com and the enquiry forms on it. SIMCOE Lubricants Inc. is a United States company at 26501 79th Ave S, Suite 110, Kent, Washington 98032, and we supply the United States and Canada. If you are reading this in Canada, the Canadian rules set out below apply to you.
What we collect
Our contact and lab report forms ask for your name, email address, company, and whatever you write in the message field. We only receive what you type. Submissions reach our inbox through Web3Forms, which handles the delivery.
Separately, like most sites, ours records which pages you visit, roughly where you are connecting from, which browser you use, and the site that sent you here. That happens through the Meta pixel described next.
Cookies and the Meta pixel
This site runs the Meta pixel, a script from Meta Platforms, the company behind Facebook and Instagram. It sets cookies in your browser and tells Meta which of our pages you looked at. We use it for one thing: working out what kind of buyer finds our products useful, so that our advertising reaches people like them instead of everyone.
We do not sell your information. We do not send Meta your name, your email address, or anything you typed into one of our forms.
If you would rather not be tracked this way, there are a few ways to stop it. Meta's own ad preferences let you switch off activity-based targeting. Most browsers will block third-party cookies once you tell them to. A tracker-blocking extension prevents the pixel loading at all. Any of these works, and none of them affects your ability to read this site or contact us.
Why we hold it
Enquiries: to answer you, quote you, and keep a record of what was agreed. Browsing data: to see which products draw interest and to aim our advertising. Nothing beyond that.
Who else sees it
We use outside companies to run parts of this site and our marketing. Each one sees only what it needs to do its job:
- Meta Platforms runs the pixel and the advertising described above.
- Web3Forms delivers form submissions to our inbox.
- Vercel hosts the website.
- Cloudflare handles DNS and routes traffic.
We also share marketing audience data with affiliated companies, so that related brands can plan advertising together rather than each building the same audience twice. This is audience information. It is not your name and it is not your enquiry.
We do not sell personal information, and your enquiry does not go to anyone outside the list above.
Your choices
Canada. Under PIPEDA you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and withdraw your consent for marketing uses. Write to us and we will act on it.
United States. Residents of California and a number of other states have comparable rights to see their data, delete it, and opt out of targeted advertising. The same address below works.
Wherever you are, you can ask us to delete your enquiry whenever you like. If a contract or a tax rule means we have to keep part of it, we will tell you which part and why.
How long we keep it
Enquiries stay with us while there is an active commercial relationship, and for seven years after the last order, which is what tax and warranty rules require. Browsing data held by Meta runs on Meta's own schedule, currently up to two years for custom audiences.
Changes, and how to reach us
We update this page when what we do changes. The date at the top tells you when it last moved.
