SIMCOE Engine Oil
in Canada
SIMCOE Lubricants supplies the Endura Series of API SP gasoline engine oil across Canada, shipped from our Kent, Washington head office. Quoted in Canadian dollars, in 5 litre metric packs, with batch documentation on every order.
What We Ship Into Canada
The whole range is available to Canadian buyers: 6 grades of advanced performance gasoline engine oil, API SP rated, in full synthetic and semi synthetic, covering the viscosities that account for the overwhelming majority of Canadian passenger car and light truck service.
Cold Starts Are the Canadian Problem
Most measurable engine wear happens in the seconds after a cold start, before oil reaches the top end. That window is longer and more frequent in a Canadian winter, which makes the winter rating the number worth reading first.
In a grade such as SAE 0W-20, the figure before the W describes low-temperature cranking and pumping behaviour, not hot viscosity. A 0W oil and a 5W oil sharing the same second number protect identically at operating temperature; they differ in how quickly they circulate when the engine is cold. Where a manufacturer permits either, the 0W is the better winter choice. Where the manufacturer specifies one grade, use it: a lighter oil dropped into an engine built for a heavier one is not a winter upgrade.

How Buying From Canada Works
Pricing available in Canadian dollars on request. Freight, duties and lead time are confirmed in writing on the quote, not estimated after the fact.
The range ships in 5 litre packs. Already metric, so there is no conversion between what the label states and how a Canadian workshop orders.
Our head office sits in the Pacific Northwest freight corridor, a short run from the British Columbia border. We quote freight to any province.
A certificate of analysis is issued per production batch. Canadian buyers get the same batch reporting and direct technical access as any other account.
Canadian Stockists and Distributors
We are appointing distributors and stockists across Canada now. If you supply independent workshops, quick-lube bays or fleet operators in your province, there is territory available.
Tell us the region you cover, the sectors you serve and the annual volume you expect to move. We will come back with distributor terms, the grades available to you and realistic lead times into your province. If you are a workshop or fleet looking for a Canadian stockist rather than buying direct, contact us and we will point you at coverage in your area.
Enquire About Canadian DistributionBuying SIMCOE Engine Oil in Canada: Common Questions
Does SIMCOE Lubricants ship engine oil to Canada?
Yes. SIMCOE ships the full Endura Series into Canada from our head office at 26501 79th Ave S, Kent, Washington. Kent sits in the Pacific Northwest freight corridor a short run from the British Columbia border, so Western Canada is well served, and we quote freight to any Canadian province on request.
Can I get pricing in Canadian dollars?
Yes. Quotes are available in CAD on request. Tell us the grade, pack quantity and delivery province and we will confirm CAD pricing, freight and lead time. Duties and any applicable taxes are confirmed in writing on the quote rather than estimated.
Which viscosity grade suits Canadian winters?
Read the number before the W: it describes how the oil behaves cold, not hot. A 0W oil pumps to the top end of a cold engine faster than a 5W of the same operating grade, and that is where most cold-start wear happens. In a Canadian winter this makes SAE 0W-20 the stronger choice over 5W-20, and 0W-16 where the manufacturer calls for it. Always follow the grade printed in the owner's manual or on the oil filler cap.
Do API SP and ILSAC GF-6 apply in Canada?
They do. API service categories and ILSAC GF-6 are North American standards used in Canada exactly as they are in the United States. There is no separate Canadian engine oil specification to meet, so an oil formulated to API SP and ILSAC GF-6A is the same oil on either side of the border.
What pack sizes ship to Canada?
The Endura Series ships in 5 litre packs. The range is already metric, so there is no conversion between what the label states and how a Canadian workshop orders.
Can I stock or distribute SIMCOE engine oil in Canada?
We are appointing Canadian stockists and distributors now. Contact us with your region, the sectors you serve and your expected annual volume, and we will come back with distributor terms, available grades and lead times into your province.
